It takes a specific type or style of recipe and meal to make it possible to put 10 meals together and into the freezer that fast. All of the recipes in the MyFreezEasy meal plans require very minimal prep. Just load up all the bags with the ingredients and freeze them. Then you can take the meal you want, thaw it partially in the fridge overnight or in a bowl of warm water on the counter for 20 minutes, and drop all the ingredients into the slow cooker, Dutch oven, skillet or baking dish.
A typical FreezEasy meal plan takes about an hour to put together…that’s 10 meals into your freezer in the same amount of time you might spend preparing dinner on another evening. (Fist bump!)
Also, they don’t take up a ton of room in your freezer (that’s my fridge freezer right there, and those 10 meals take up less than half of the bottom shelf of my freezer.)

"Erin, I loved doing this! I have a big family (10 kids), so I doubled all of the recipes for our family of 12 (sometimes threw in an extra chicken breast or two in addition to doubling, but kept the veggies/sauce doubled) and still made two of each meal. Most of the kids liked all of the dinners- some even had curry for the first time. Overall, it took me about 2 1/2 hours to get all of the meals prepped and frozen, but that is doubling all recipes so it would be like a "regular" person making four of each meal (or 20 total meals). 🙂I like that I can have ready-made real food vs. take-out pizza for those nights that we have baseball, Bible study, etc. and no time to cook. :)"
