Slow Cooker Cranberry-Mustard Pork Roast

Adore this sweet and tangy sauce that cooks on top of the pork roast in the slow cooker all day. Pair with your favorite mashed potatoes and veggies for amazing meal!

Ingredients for Single Meal

  • 2 - lb(s) pork roast
  • - Salt and pepper
  • 1 - tsp cinnamon
  • 1 - 15 oz can(s) whole cranberries
  • 1/4 - cup(s) spicy mustard
  • Side: - mashed potatoes**

Cooking Directions for Single Meal

  1. Place the pork roast into the base of the slow cooker insert. Season with salt, pepper and cinnamon.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine the whole cranberries with the spicy mustard. Pour the sauce over top of the pork roast and set on low and cook for 8 hours.
  3. Prepare the mashed potatoes and veggies.
  4. Serve Slow Cooker Cranberry-Mustard Pork Roast with a side of mashed potatoes and veggies.

Freezeasy Meal Prep Directions

  1. Whisk together 2 - 15 oz. cans whole cranberries sauce & 1/2 cup spicy mustard.

To each gallon-size plastic freezer baggie, add the following ingredients:

  • 2 lbs. pork roast
  • Pinch of salt and pepper and dashes of cinnamon onto the pork roast
  • Half of the prepared cranberry-mustard sauce over the pork chops

Remove as much air as possible and seal. Add label to baggie and freeze.

Freeze & Thaw Instructions

Put baggie in the freezer and freeze up to 6 months in fridge freezer or 12 months in a deep freezer. Thaw in the fridge overnight, or a warm bowl of water for about 20 minutes, before transferring to the slow cooker and cooking on low for 8 hours.
