These Buffalo Chicken Sliders pack a punch of flavor and are the perfect weeknight dinner or snack at a summer gathering or a Game Day night. You can freeze the filling during a MyFreezEasy meal prep session and then bake the sliders with the shredded Buffalo chicken. Enjoy!

Ingredients for Single Meal

  • 4 - small boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 - cup(s) buffalo wing sauce
  • 2 - Tbsp Ranch seasoning mix
  • 2 - Tbsp blue cheese crumbles
  • - Salt and pepper
  • 16 - slider buns**
  • 8 - slices Provolone cheese**
  • 4 - Tbsp melted butter**
  • 1 - tsp minced garlic**
  • 1 - tsp Ranch seasoning mix**
  • Side: - veggies**
  • 1 - gallon-size freezer baggie(s)

Cooking Directions for Single Meal

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the base of the slow cooker and pour the Buffalo wing sauce around and over the chicken. Sprinkle the Ranch seasoning mix over the top, along with the blue cheese crumbles. Add a pinch of salt and pepper.
  2. Set on low and cook for 8 hours. Once cooked, shred the chicken into the Buffalo wing sauce.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350 F. Add the bottoms slider buns to a baking dish. Spoon the shredded chicken and buffalo wing sauce onto the slider buns, then add a single layer of Provolone cheese slices. Add the slider buns top over the top.
  4. In a mixing bowl, melt the butter and stir in the minced garlic and Ranch dressing mix. Brush over the top of the slider buns. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, or until cheese has melted. Slice slider buns and serve.
  5. Prepare the veggies.
  6. Serve Buffalo Chicken Sliders with veggies.

Freezeasy Meal Prep Directions

    To each gallon-size plastic freezer baggie, add the following ingredients:

    • 4 small boneless chicken breasts
    • 1 cup Buffalo wing sauce
    • 2 Tbsp Ranch seasoning mix
    • 2 Tbsp blue cheese crumbles
    • Salt and pepper

    Remove as much air as possible and seal. Add label to baggie and freeze.

    Freeze & Thaw Instructions

    Put baggie in the freezer and freeze up to 6 months in fridge freezer or 12 months in a deep freezer. Thaw in the fridge overnight, or a warm bowl of water for about 20 minutes, before transferring to the slow cooker and cooking on low for 8 hours. Once cooked, shred the chicken and assemble and bake the sliders as directed.
