Cooking Directions for Single Meal

  1. Preheat the grill.
  2. Finely chop or crush the French’s fried onions.
  3. Combine the ground beef, crushed fried onions, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic and pepper. Mix well and form into 4 patties.
  4. Place the patties on the grill. Grill for 5 to 6 minutes per side, or until internal temperature should reach 165 F. If you need to cook the patties a little longer then you can move them to a cool part of the grill until they’re done.
  5. Assemble burger patties on buns with thinly sliced onion, a slice of American cheese, and other favorite condiments.
  6. Warm the baked beans.
  7. Serve Grilled Fried Onion Burgers with baked beans and fruit.

Freezeasy Meal Prep Directions

  1. Finely chop or crush 1/2 cup of French’s fried onions.
  2. Combine 2 lbs. ground beef, the crushed fried onions, 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp minced garlic, and 1 tsp pepper in a medium mixing bowl. Mix well and then form into 8 patties.

To each gallon-size plastic freezer baggie, add the following ingredients:

  • 4 burger patties

Remove as much air as possible and seal. Add a label to the baggie and freeze.

Freeze & Thaw Instructions

Put baggie in the freezer and freeze for up to 6 months in the fridge freezer or 12 months in a deep freezer. Thaw in the fridge overnight, or a warm bowl of water for about 20 minutes, before transferring to the grill and grilling as directed.
