Garlic Butter Salmon

This salmon recipe is the perfect 30-minute dinner option. And my guess is that you have most of the ingredients needed in your fridge, minus the salmon. ;) It’s a quick sauce mixing, followed by a quick bake and dinner is done. Enjoy!

  • 1 - lb(s) salmon fillet
  • - Salt and pepper
  • 1 - Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/4 - cup(s) lemon juice
  • 1/4 - cup(s) melted butter
  • Side: - veggies**

Cooking Directions for Single Meal

  1. Cook rice, as directed.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  3. Cut salmon fillet into individual meal-size portions. Place in small baking dish. Sprinkle salt and pepper onto the tops of each fillet.
  4. Melt the butter.
  5. In a small mixing bowl, whisk the melted butter with the lemon juice and garlic. Pour the sauce directly over the top of the salmon, coating well.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until salmon is no longer pink in the middle. Sprinkle a little more pepper onto each fillet after baking.
  7. Prepare veggies.
  8. Serve Garlic Butter Salmon with a side of rice and veggies.

Freezeasy Meal Prep Directions

  1. Cut 2 lbs. of salmon fillet into 8 pieces.
  2. Melt 1/2 cup butter.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, whisk the melted butter with the 1/2 cup of lemon juice and 2 Tbsp minced garlic.

To each gallon-size plastic freezer baggie, add the following ingredients:

  • Half of the salmon portions into each bag
  • Half of the garlic-butter sauce into each bag

Remove as much air as possible and seal. Add label to baggie and freeze.

Freeze & Thaw Instructions

Pull out the bag the night before and thaw completely in the fridge. Bake as directed.
