A tropical-teriyaki twist for your next burgers on the grill night! We\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'re mixing in a mayo-teriyaki combo into the ground beef, which results in a delicious, moist and flavorful burger! Top with grilled pineapple slices, a dollop of teriyaki sauce, and other favorite burgers fixings. Enjoy!

Ingredients for Single Meal

  • 1 1/2 - lb(s) ground beef
  • 1/4 - cup(s) mayonnaise
  • 3 - Tbsp teriyaki sauce
  • - Salt and pepper
  • 1 - 8 oz. can sliced pineapple**
  • 4 - hamburger buns**
  • Garnish: - teriyaki sauce**
  • Garnish: - lettuce leaves**
  • Side: - chips**
  • Side: - fruit**
  • 1 - gallon-size freezer baggie(s)

Cooking Directions for Single Meal

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise and teriyaki sauce.
  2. In large bowl, mix ground beef, and the mayo-teriyaki combo. Make 4 burger patties and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Pre-heat the grill. Pull out 4 pineapple slices and pat dry.
  4. Grill burgers to desired temperature. Grill the dried pineapple slices for 1 minute on each side. Set patties onto buns with grilled pineapple slice, and top with dollop of teriyaki sauce. Add lettuce leaves to burger.
  5. Serve Grilled Teriyaki Burgers with fruit and chips.

Freezeasy Meal Prep Directions

  1. Mix together 1/2 cup mayonnaise with 6 Tbsp teriyaki sauce.
  2. Mix 3 lbs. ground beef with the mayo-teriyaki combo. Form 8 burger patties.

To each gallon-size plastic freezer baggie, add the following ingredients:

  • Half of the burger patties
  • Small piece of foil between patties to prevent sticking, if desired

Remove as much air as possible and seal. Add label to baggie and freeze.

Freeze & Thaw Instructions

Put baggie in the freezer and freeze up to 6 months in fridge freezer or 12 months in a deep freezer. Thaw completely in the fridge before grilling the burgers and pineapple slices. Assemble burgers as directed.

Recipe is dairy-free when made with dairy-free mayo and served with dairy-free sides.
