Enjoy this delectable shrimp sautéed in a sticky-sweet sauce made of garlic and honey. It’s the perfect balance of flavors and pairs well with rice or noodles.

Ingredients for Single Meal

  • 2 - lb(s) peeled deveined shrimp
  • 2 - small lemon(s)
  • - Salt and pepper
  • 1/2 - cup(s) honey
  • 3 - Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 - Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 - Tbsp olive oil**
  • Garnish: - lemon wedges**

Cooking Directions for Single Meal

  1. Halve the lemons.
  2. In a small bowl, add the shrimp and sprinkle with salt and pepper plus the juice from half of the lemons.
  3. In another small bowl, whisk together the honey, garlic and soy sauce.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet and saute the shrimp and sauce together for 4 to 5 minutes, or until all the shrimp are pink. Once cooked, toss well in the sauce, creating a glaze. Squeeze and juice the other lemons over the top, just before serving.
  5. Cook the rice.
  6. Prepare the salad.
  7. Serve Honey Garlic Shrimp over rice with salad.

Freezeasy Meal Prep Directions

  1. Halve 4 small lemons.

To each gallon-size plastic freezer baggie, add the following ingredients:

  • 2 lbs. peeled deveined shrimp
  • Juice from half of the lemons
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 3 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce

Remove as much air as possible and seal. Add label to baggie and freeze.

Freeze & Thaw Instructions

Put baggie in the freezer and freeze up to 6 months in fridge freezer or 12 months in a deep freezer. Thaw in the fridge overnight, or a warm bowl of water for about 20 minutes, before transferring to the skillet and sauteing as directed until shrimp are pink.

Special notes

You can saute the shrimp and veggies together after it’s all been frozen together. Just stir often and watch closely to make sure the shrimp don’t over-cook.
