This amazing salmon literally swims and bakes in this melted butter sauce. The end result is perfectly flaky, and flavored salmon for your dinner!

  • 3 - Tbsp honey
  • 3 - Tbsp lemon juice

Cooking Directions for Single Meal

  1. Cook rice, as directed.
  2. Preheat the oven to 400 F.
  3. Melt the butter and pour into a bowl. Whisk in the honey and lemon juice.
  4. Cut salmon fillet into 4 pieces. Place in a small baking dish and season with salt and pepper. Pour the melted butter mixture over the top.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the salmon is no longer pink in the middle. Cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of salmon pieces. Remove skin before serving.
  6. Prepare the salad.
  7. Serve Honey Lemon Salmon with rice and salad.

Freezeasy Meal Prep Directions

  1. Cut 2 lbs. of salmon fillet into 8 pieces.

To each gallon-size plastic freezer baggie, add the following ingredients:

  • 4 salmon pieces
  • Salt and pepper
  • Half of the melted butter mixture

Remove as much air as possible and seal. Add a label to the baggie and freeze.

Freeze & Thaw Instructions

Put baggie in the freezer and freeze for up to 6 months in the fridge freezer or 12 months in a deep freezer. Thaw in the fridge overnight, or a warm bowl of water for about 20 minutes, before transferring the salmon to a baking dish. Bake at 400 F for 15 to 20 minutes.

Serve with cauliflower ‘rice’ for a Paleo/Whole30 meal.
