  • - Salt and pepper
  • 2 - Tbsp honey
  • 2 - Tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 - Tbsp spicy mustard
  • 1 - tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 - tsp smoked paprika

Cooking Directions for Single Meal

  1. Cook rice, as directed.
  2. Preheat the oven to 400 F.
  3. Cut salmon filet into 4 pieces. Place in a small baking dish and season with salt and pepper.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the honey, lemon juice, spicy mustard, cayenne pepper and smoked paprika. Scrape and spread the hot honey mixture directly onto each salmon filet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the salmon is no longer pink in the middle.
  6. Prepare the salad.
  7. Serve Hot Honey Salmon with rice and salad.

Freezeasy Meal Prep Directions

  1. Cut 2 lbs. of salmon fillet into 8 pieces.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together 4 Tbsp honey, 4 Tbsp lemon juice, 4 Tbsp spicy mustard, 2 tsp cayenne pepper, and 1 tsp smoked paprika.

To each gallon-size plastic freezer baggie, add the following ingredients:

  • 4 salmon pieces
  • Salt and pepper
  • Half of the hot honey sauce, directly onto the salmon

Remove as much air as possible and seal. Add label to baggie and freeze.

Freeze & Thaw Instructions

Put baggie in the freezer and freeze up to 6 months in fridge freezer or 12 months in a deep freezer. Thaw in the fridge overnight, or a warm bowl of water for about 20 minutes, before transferring the salmon and toppings to baking dish. Bake at 400 F for 15 to 20 minutes.
