The recipe title says it all. This chili has everything delicious in it. It\\\'s simple and easy, and of course even better because it\\\'s coming out of the Instant Pot!

Ingredients for Single Meal

  • 1 - lb(s) ground beef
  • 1/2 - cup(s) hot water**
  • 1 - Tbsp minced onion
  • 1 - tsp garlic powder
  • 2 - 15 oz. can(s) white beans
  • 2 - cup(s) beef broth
  • 2 - cup(s) shredded cheddar cheese**
  • 2 - cup(s) whole milk**
  • - Salt and pepper
  • Garnish: - crumbled strips bacon**
  • Side: - veggies**
  • 1 - gallon-size freezer baggie(s)

Cooking Directions for Single Meal

  1. Open, drain, and rinse the 2 cans of white beans.
  2. In a large saucepan, brown the ground beef with the minced onion and garlic powder. Drain and add the browned ground beef to the pressure cooker insert with the hot water. Stir in the drained white beans, and beef broth.
  3. Steam valve: Sealing.
  4. Cook on: Manual/High for 15 minutes.
  5. Release: Natural or Quick.
  6. Stir in the whole milk and only half of the shredded cheese to the cooked chili. Use remaining shredded cheese for garnish.
  7. Cook and crumble the bacon, if needed.
  8. Prepare veggies.
  9. Serve Instant Pot Bacon Cheeseburger Chili with bacon and shredded cheese garnish, and veggies.

Freezeasy Meal Prep Directions

  1. Brown 2 lbs. ground beef with 2 Tbsp minced onion and 2 tsp garlic powder. Set aside to cool.
  2. Open, drain and rinse 4 cans of white beans.

To each gallon-size plastic freezer baggie in a round bowl/dish, add the following ingredients:

  • Half of the browned ground beef, cooled
  • Half of the canned white beans, drained
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • Salt and pepper

Remove as much air as possible and seal. Add label to baggie and freeze.

Freeze & Thaw Instructions

Put baggie in the freezer and freeze up to 6 months in fridge freezer or 12 months in a deep freezer. Thaw in the fridge overnight, or a warm bowl of water for about 20 minutes, before transferring to pressure cooker insert with hot water. Pressure cook as directed. (Stir in whole milk and half of the shredded cheese about 10 minutes before serving.)

Special notes
