This shredded or sliced pork tenderloin is magical! It cooks up quick in the Instant Pot and the end result is a tender, juicy, melt in your mouth meal. Ingredients for Single Meal

  • 2 - lb(s) pork tenderloin
  • 1/2 - cup(s) hot water**
  • - Salt and pepper
  • 1 1/2 - cup(s) honey
  • 1/2 - cup(s) balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 - cup(s) brown sugar
  • 1/2 - cup(s) chicken broth
  • 2 - Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 - tsp minced garlic
  • 2 - tsp minced onion
  • Side: - dinner rolls**
  • Side: - veggies**

Cooking Directions for Single Meal

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, chicken broth, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and minced onion.
  2. Place the pork tenderloin with the hot water into the electric pressure cooker insert and season with salt and pepper. Pour the prepared sauce on and around the pork tenderloin.
  3. Steam valve: Sealing.
  4. Cook on: Manual/High for 55 minutes.
  5. Release: Natural or Quick.
  6. Once finished cooking, slice or shred the pork with 2 forks and mix into the sauce.
  7. Prepare veggies.
  8. Warm the dinner rolls.
  9. Serve Instant Pot Honey Balsamic Pork Tenderloin with dinner rolls and veggies.

Freezeasy Meal Prep Directions

    To each gallon-size plastic freezer baggie in a round bowl/dish, add the following ingredients:

    • 2 lb. pork tenderloin
    • Salt and pepper
    • 1 1/2 cups honey
    • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
    • 1/4 cup brown sugar
    • 1/2 cup chicken broth
    • 2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
    • 2 tsp minced garlic
    • 2 tsp minced onion

    Remove as much air as possible and seal. Add label to baggie and freeze.

    Freeze & Thaw Instructions

    Put baggie in the freezer and freeze up to 6 months in fridge freezer or 12 months in a deep freezer. Thaw in the fridge overnight, or a warm bowl of water for about 20 minutes, before adding contents of bag plus water to electric pressure cooker insert. Pressure cook as directed.
