Huge Grocery Savings in SF Bay Area
"I received the plan just before a grueling week at work with my only day off on a Monday. I needed to get some slow cooker meals in the freezer so I could have meals ready for my family. I spent about $90 for 8 freezer meals plus 3 additional meals for after my crazy work week. I managed to get all of my meals plus misc veggies and other frozen products into my fridge freezer. Now, this week the only shopping that has occurred is for school lunch supplies and coffee creamer. For a family of three in the Bay Area and without doing any real shopping for deals our total for two weeks of meals was under $125 ($90 for the 10 freezer meals, $35 for the other items.) Not bad considering we've got a picky 9 yr with a hallow leg."Pleasantly Surprised
"Aloha! So far I'm loving having meals prepped that I just need to thaw and cook. I was able to easily adapt the tray meals into baggie meals, because I need to save space in my freezer. The Honey Mustard Shredded Chicken Sandwiches - these were tasty and easy. This is a recipe I would totally make for a board game night. The Lightened Up Chicken Parmesan - I was pleasantly surprised. We really enjoyed this one. I'm looking forward to the new website and the new meal plans!"

Ready-Made Real Food Meals for Nights With No Time to Cook
"Erin, I loved doing this! I have a big family (10 kids), so I doubled all of the recipes for our family of 12 (sometimes threw in an extra chicken breast or two in addition to doubling, but kept the veggies/sauce doubled) and still made two of each meal. Most of the kids liked all of the dinners- some even had curry for the first time. Overall, it took me about 2 1/2 hours to get all of the meals prepped and frozen, but that is doubling all recipes so it would be like a "regular" person making four of each meal (or 20 total meals). 🙂
I like that I can have ready-made real food vs. take-out pizza for those nights that we have baseball, Bible study, etc. and no time to cook. :)"Took Me Out of My Comfort Zone (and Rut!)
"Erin, I like how your recipes took me out of my comfort zone (and rut!) flavor-wise but not so far that my family wouldn't go with me! Love the two types of shopping lists, directions for making a single meal and freezing two meals, and thorough directions for freezing/cooking, notes, and modifications. I didn't try the loading table as I assembled by meal as you did in the video. Also, love your down-to-earth style and that you included your son in the process as I am mother to 6 boys. All have or are learning to cook and #6 (8 years old) says he wants to be a chef. We shall see! I struggle with meal planning and making decisions in general. Very frequently I know I need groceries but don't have a list or plan! I look forward to more plans from FreezEasy.com!"There is Something Different about Deliberate Freezer Meals
"I made the Baked Orange Pork Chops for dinner last night and froze a couple of the other pork chop recipes after purchasing a family pack of chops that was on sale last weekend. 🙂
I love the freedom that these meals are giving me. I've always saved leftovers to freeze, but there is something different about deliberate freezer meals. Just knowing I can pull one of these out and toss it in the slow cooker before I start my day or oven when we get home is just liberating.
I've looked over other plans like the Costco plan and never did them, I guess, because they seem to require a bigger time commitment that I don't ever seem to have. I like that the FreezEasy plans are recipes that I can pull together while another meal is cooking (what I did last night) or while the girls watch a movie (the chicken plan).
Thank you!"Liked Staging Ingredients So I Could Just Assemble
"I really appreciated the grocery list for all recipes by category. I have recently gone back to work and while it is only very PT, it has really rocked my own planning/shopping/cleaning routine, which wasn't strong to begin with. I liked staging the ingredients so I could just assemble, great concept. The Lightened Up Chicken Parmesan - I liked stepping out of my box of jarred sauce and making a less processed sauce. Yummy!
Freezer cooking is so helpful if I can just take the time to make it happen. I am feeling less overwhelmed and more motivated to plan for the next round of meals! Thank you!"Loved the Ease of Setup
"Erin, I loved everything about the ease and organization with which you set everything up. I have found the biggest thing is staying organized with freezer meals and some plans or pinterest links haven't been especially planned out on the other end. I liked that you had the file and spreadsheet. Everything turned out great and it was easy to follow using your directions. I also liked that you put variations in your directions based on different diets."Friend Hanging Out with Me in my Kitchen
