Cooking Directions for Single Meal
- To the slow cooker, add the pork chops and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add about ½ cup water around the pork chops.
- In a small mixing bowl, toss together the quartered sweet potatoes, sliced apples, chopped onion, brown sugar and balsamic vinegar. Pour over the pork chops in the slow cooker.
- Set slow cooker on low and cook for 8 hours.

- Dice 1 white onion.
- Peel and quarter 6 sweet potatoes
- Core, peel and slice 6 apples. If desired, soak in bowl of water with 1 tsp lemon juice before freezing.
To each gallon-size plastic freezer baggie, add the following ingredients:
- 4 boneless pork chops
- Salt and pepper
- Half of the quartered sweet potatoes
- Half of the sliced apples
- Half of the diced white onion
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
Remove as much air as possible and seal. Add label to baggie and freeze.
Freeze & Thaw Instructions
Put baggie in the freezer and freeze up to 6 months in fridge freezer or 12 months in a deep freezer. Thaw in the fridge overnight, or a warm bowl of water for about 20 minutes, before transferring to the slow cooker and cooking on low for 8 hours.
