- 2 - lb(s) beef chuck roast
- - Salt and pepper
- 1 - 15 oz. can(s) tomato sauce
- 1 - Tbsp minced ginger
- 1 - Tbsp minced garlic
- 2 - Tbsp garam masala
- 1 - Tbsp turmeric
- 1 - tsp onion powder
- 1 - cup(s) plain yogurt**

Cooking Directions for Single Meal
- Place the beef roast into the base of the slow cooker and season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle the minced ginger, minced garlic, garam masala, and turmeric over the roast. Pour the tomato sauce over the top.
- Set the slow cooker on low and cook for 8 hours. Once finished cooking, shred the beef with 2 forks and mix into the sauce.
- Prepare salad.
- Cook the rice as directed.

- Open 2 cans of green chiles.
To each gallon-size plastic freezer baggie, add the following ingredients:
- 2 lb. beef chuck roast
- Salt and pepper
- 1 - 15 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp minced ginger
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 2 Tbsp garam masala
- 1 Tbsp turmeric
- Do NOT add yogurt to the freezer meal bag.
Remove as much air as possible and seal. Add label to baggie and freeze.
Freeze & Thaw Instructions
Put baggie in the freezer and freeze up to 6 months in fridge freezer or 12 months in a deep freezer. Thaw in the fridge overnight, or a warm bowl of water for about 20 minutes, before transferring to the slow cooker and cooking on low for 8 hours. Once cooked, stir in the plain yogurt into the sauce with the shredded beef.
