To-die-for. I’m giving this one a “to-die-for” label not only because it is such fantastically yummy comfort food, but also because it’s so easy to take it from freezer to fridge to thaw to bake in the oven. Dinner has never been easier! Enjoy!
Ingredients for Single Meal
- 2 - 5 oz. can(s) tuna in water
- 1 - red bell pepper(s)
- 1 - Tbsp minced onion
- 1 - tsp garlic powder
- 4 - oz. cream cheese
- 1 - cup(s) sour cream
- 1 - 10 oz can(s) cream of mushroom
- 1 - 8 oz can(s) sliced mushrooms
- 12 - oz. small shell pasta
- 2 - cup(s) shredded cheddar cheese
- Side: - salad**
- 1 - 9x13 disposable foil tray(s)

Cooking Directions for Single Meal
- Set out cream cheese to soften.
- Preheat the oven to 350 F.
- Cook the pasta noodles as directed. Drain and toss into a large mixing bowl.
- Open and drain the tuna well. Open the cream of mushroom soup. Open and drain the mushrooms.
- Chop the red bell pepper.
- In the large mixing bowl, toss together the pasta with the tuna, chopped red bell pepper, minced onion, garlic powder, softened cream cheese, sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, sliced mushrooms and a few pinches of salt and pepper.
- Transfer into a rectangular baking dish, and then top with the shredded cheese. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until warmed through and cheese on top is melted.
- Prepare the salad.
- Serve Tuna Noodle Casserole with side salad.

- Set out 8 oz. cream cheese to soften.
- Chop 2 red bell peppers.
- Open and drain 4 cans of tuna. Open 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup. Open and drain 2 cans of sliced mushrooms.
- Cook 2 boxes pasta noodles as directed. Drain and toss into a large mixing bowl.
- In the large mixing bowl, toss together the pasta with the drained tuna, chopped red bell pepper, 2 Tbsp minced onion, 2 tsp garlic powder, 8 oz. softened cream cheese, 2 cups sour cream, 2 cans cream of mushroom soup, 2 cans of sliced mushrooms and a few pinches of salt and pepper.
To each disposable tray, add the following ingredients:
- Half of the creamy & tuna pasta mixture into each tray
- 2 cups of shredded cheese over the top
Cover with foil or lid, add label and freeze.
Freeze & Thaw Instructions
Put tray in the freezer and freeze up to 6 months in fridge freezer or 12 months in a deep freezer. Thaw in the fridge overnight, or a warm shallow dish of water for about 20 minutes, before transferring to the oven and baking as directed.
